The Seeon 180 ° backpack is by far the most advanced bag I have ever seen… and I have been writing about innovative bags for 6 years now. The fact that it carries your luggage from point A to point B is an incredibly small part of what the Seeon 180 ° backpack does, but it’s also an incredibly important part. You could be a businessman with important documents, a woman with her valuables, or just someone who accidentally ventures into a dodgy neighborhood. Seeon 180 ° has its own surveillance system to keep an eye on people approaching you from behind, a motion sensor that can detect objects or people moving towards you, an alarm system that is active in an emergency during altercations, muggings or assaults, and a GPS Tracking Device that can send your location (or the location of your bag) to an emergency contact list in the event of a emergency. The bag even has solar panels and a built-in power bank to allow these features to work, as well as to charge your gadgets … and if that wasn’t enough, the bag has its own light strip that automatically lights up in the bag. darkness, allowing cyclists and other pedestrians to spot and avoid you when walking on sidewalks or crossing roads.

I often find myself calling Seeon 180 ° “more than a backpack”, and I keep checking myself when I say so… because frankly, it’s not really a backpack to begin with. It is a secure safe that you can carry on your back. Designed for a modern age where the protection of yourself and your belongings really needs to be at the forefront, Seeon 180 ° uses technology to create a secure and portable storage solution. It just looks like a backpack, but it’s too advanced to really put it in the same category as your simplistic canvas or leather bag.

Perhaps the most intriguing and defining feature of Seeon 180 ° is its 1080p surveillance camera built into the back of the bag. Designed to be your third eye as you move forward, Seeon 180 ° keeps an eye on you by constantly scanning what’s going on behind you. It’s paired with a motion sensor that can even gauge the speed of objects approaching you, letting you be aware of what’s going on behind you so you don’t have to constantly look back for yourself. make sure you are safe. The camera fits discreetly in the bag, is virtually impossible to notice, and sends alerts to your phone. This portable surveillance system is powered by an ARM computer integrated directly into Seeon 180 °. In addition to being able to “see” what is behind you, Seeon 180 ° can also detect its own location.

The backpack (and I’m using that term for convenience here) even comes with its own GPS that actively tracks the location of the bag and the wearer, serving two big purposes. In the event of an altercation, the bag can send an SOS alert to an emergency contact, or if the bag is stolen, it can be tracked in real time. Among other features, the bag also comes with its own “tail light”, which automatically lights up in the dark. Designed to be easily spotted at night (so cars, bikes and pedestrians can avoid you), the LEDs can also be controlled via your smartphone, allowing you to turn them on or off depending on your needs.

All the functionality of Seeon 180 ° is powered by its built-in 20,000mAh power bank, which you can also use to charge your own devices. The power bank is complemented by a series of solar panels on the back of the Seeon 180 °, which means you don’t really need to charge the backpack too often! A wireless module allows Seeon 180 ° to connect to your smartphone, and the Seeon 180 ° app allows you to create personalized alerts based on emergencies like mugging, theft or collision. Even if you’re not looking at your phone screen, the backpack’s discreet alarm system can vibrate at you when it detects danger, prompting you to look back and assess the situation. If the situation gets out of hand or your bag is stolen, you can also share the location of the bag from the app, making it easy to keep track of your backpack as well as your belongings.

These features, however, tend to distract from Seeon 180 °’s most basic job of being able to carry your stuff! The Seeon 180 ° backpack (can we just call it a backsafe?) Has a main compartment large enough to securely store your laptop and tablet and more, while the inside pockets like outside give you organized storage space for all your belongings. For a backpack as advanced as Seeon 180 °, it is also incredibly stylish. The whole exterior is made from high quality calfskin, with hammered straps, a padded back panel and even waterproof zippers. You could argue this is a bit to its detriment, as the bag’s sleek appeal can actually draw people in instead of letting you sneak around without anyone noticing or following you! Just kidding, of course… Seeon 180 ° is actually ushering in a rather new era for bags, where being able to stay safe and track your stuff is of paramount importance. Having launched just a month after Apple announced its AirTags that let you track your keys, wallet, and belongings, the Seeon 180 ° backpack definitely seems to have its finger on the pulse. And as one of the contributors to the Kickstarter page put it quite perfectly, “Only one katana is missing” …
