Police ask residents of the area to check surveillance equipment

The Windsor Police Department is asking anyone living in the 1100 block of Huron Church Road or 1000 of Felix Avenue who may have CCTV equipment to check their cameras for possible footage relevant to an investigation into a robbery.

At approximately 11:15 p.m. on August 9, police responded to a robbery call in the 1100 block of Huron Church Road.

Upon arrival, officers located the adult male victim in the area with non-life threatening injuries he sustained as a result of the incident.

Through the investigation, it was learned that the 38-year-old and 34-year-old suspects were known to the victim and they were arrested at a residence in the 1000 block of Felix Avenue.

On August 10, investigators from the Major Crimes Unit requested and obtained a judicial authorization for the residence in question located in block 1000 of avenue Felix.

Following the search warrant, an item of probative value was located and seized in the residence in question.
