Ondas Networks receives a new order for an integrated coastal surveillance system to be deployed in Asia

(“American Robotics” or “AR”), today announced that Ondas Networks has received a new order from a major defense contractor for its new wireless communications system. generation to integrate into a coastal surveillance system in Asia.

This order was secured after the successful integration of Ondas into a similar coastal surveillance system deployed by the defense contractor earlier this year in the Caribbean. The order is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2022 and is part of a multi-system deployment for a major Asian country.

Integrated Coastal Surveillance Systems (ICSS) are designed to provide sovereign nations with maritime situational awareness (MSA) and surveillance capabilities against threats and illegal activities originating from the sea. These radar systems consist of a national center command and control, automatic identification systems (AIS), weather sensors and a critical communications network implemented using FullMAX technology that can transmit real-time data over a long distance from the perimeter to Coast Guard and Police vessels at sea. ICSS is designed for the detection of all types of surface targets at long range even in adverse sea conditions.
