Convicted burglar was arrested by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office on October 19e. Collin Tucker, 22, of Morris is charged with stealing an ATV from a hangar in the 1300 block of Alicia Drive on October 19e. Police officials said officers observed tire tracks crossing the backyard and Route 6 to a residence.
The ATV was in a garage in the 1200 block of East Route 6 and Tucker was arrested at that address. During an investigation, Tucker also allegedly stole a surveillance camera in the 1300 block of Susan Circle.
Tucker has been charged with burglary, a class two felony and two counts of theft, both class four. He remains in the Grundy County Jail on $ 70,000 bond.
Meanwhile, Tucker was arrested by the pro-active Grundy County unit on March 26.e from 2021. The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office said Tucker was accused of selling less than 50 hydrocodone pills somewhere in the Morris area. The arrest was the result of a narcotics investigation launched by the Grundy County Proactive Unit and the Livingston County Proactive Unit.
In March 2020, Tucker pleaded guilty to residential burglary, a class one felony and was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with a boot camp recommendation. Tucker and another person stole a video game console along with video games from a house on the 200 block of West Grandin Road in Morris on November 5, 2019.
Tucker was paroled in January 2021.
