Man and woman wanted after being caught by CCTV damaging vehicles

Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for your help in identifying a man and woman who were captured by surveillance cameras damaging vehicles at a rental business earlier this week.

Staff from a car rental company in the 700 block of Courtney Street called police after discovering that three vehicles had been damaged just before midnight on Monday August 26.e. When staff viewed the surveillance video, they discovered footage of a man and a woman climbing and jumping on the vehicles, damaging them. Damage costs are estimated at over $5,000.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • A Caucasian male, between 20 and 30 years old, about five feet nine inches tall with a slim build and blond hair curly to the collar. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue or gray denim jacket, a gray and black trucker style cap with a logo on the front, dark colored shorts, white socks, black skate shoes and a Slayer t-shirt.
  • A Caucasian female, between 20 and 30 years old, about five feet seven inches tall with an athletic build and long brown hair that was parted in the middle in the front and loosely tied back. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a black athletic-style tank top and gray shorts. She wore two gold chains, one of which bore a cross, and carried a white purse.
