Lincoln burglars take $5,000 worth of vaping products in burglary, police say | Crime and courts

Employees who arrived for work at Sj’s Smoke Shop on Saturday morning found the business’s glass front shattered and $5,000 worth of product missing, police said.

LPD Captain Todd Kocian said surveillance footage showed two people, dressed in dark clothing, entering the store near 31st and O streets early Saturday morning and fleeing with the products.

The break-in wasn’t reported until employees arrived at work around 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Kocian said.

He said the broken window would cost the store about $5,000.

A burglary investigation is ongoing.
